Achievements can be accomplished through different activities while playing, which may grant Achievement Points and special Titles. These points can be exchanged for a variety of goods. To view the Achievements gump, open the Paperdoll, click Help, and then click Achievements.

Players can now craft Fish Bait using the Cooking skill (requires 1 Plant Chemical and other assorted ingredients). Fish Bait is used to increase the chance that when a player harvests an Aquarium Creature, the resulting creature will be a specific creature type.

Each player has an Infamy value tracked for them on the Ocean that applies to all characters across their OutlandsID. Players increase their Infamy by 1 when: Killing the captain of another ship that they initiated combat with.

Players can check the Server Rankings by opening the Paperdoll, clicking Help and then Server Rankings. Players can also type [ServerRankings or [ServerRank to open the gump. Each Season for Server Rankings lasts for 90 days. Server Rankings update every 4 hours.

Players can craft Ship Bombs with Tinkering. Small Ship Bomb requires 110 Tinkering, 10 Boards and 3 Greater Explosion Potions. Large Ship Bomb requires 120 Tinkering, 20 Boards and 5 Greater Explosion Potions. Players may place ship bombs on any ship they are on board.

Ship Crewmembers can be recruited in Taverns, Inns, Docks, and other locations using the Begging Skill. Ship Crewmembers can be found as loot while out seafaring.

Players can activate a series of individual Hotbars that can be used to manage and monitor the ship and its Crewmembers easily. Players can drag and move each individual Hotbar, as well as close any Hotbars they do not wish to have up. Each Hotbar is refreshed and updated every 3 seconds.

When a player embarks a ship, a Ship Rune will be created and placed in their bankbox and their inventory. Players can use a Ship Rune to find the coordinates of their ship if they somehow manage to lose it. Ship Runes can be added to Runebooks or Rune Tomes.

The seas are considered a Lawless Zone, meaning all players may freely attack each other or commit criminal actions against each other. However players may incur Infamy for killing or sinking other players.

Each week players will be able to accept and complete jobs from six different Societies. The Society House is located in Prevalia (northeast of the bank). Players can say "Job", "Jobs" or "Society" near a Society Master to view current jobs.

Players can begin to craft Spyglasses with 55 Tinkering skill. Spyglasses are used scouting for Ships and Fishing Spots. Results for Spyglasses are further improved by using higher quality tools (tool bonuses stack with skill bonuses).
