8th Anniversary

Happy 8th Anniversary, Outlanders!

It’s hard to believe eight years have passed since we first opened the gates to Outlands! We’re fortunate to still be here, alongside a community that continues to make this world something special.

To commemorate this milestone, we’re gifting every player a bronze Figure Eight Door Knocker, a keepsake celebrating eight years of Outlands! Simply double-click the giant anniversary statue at Prevalia Bank to claim yours! This gift will be available for one week only.

The past eight years haven’t been without their ups and downs, but through it all, we’ve remained true to our vision. We haven’t turned Outlands into a pay-to-win experience, surrendered its creative direction to AI-generated slop, or stopped investing the time, resources, and imagination needed to make this world something special. Eight years later, our commitment to doing things the right way remains as strong as ever. This past year tested that resolve in new ways and reminded us that Outlands is far greater than any platform or individual seeking to see it fail.

With another expansion on the horizon, we’re preparing for one of the most ambitious chapters in our history. An enormous continent to discover and inhabit, exciting adventures, sprawling dungeons both old and new, additional skills and gameplay modes, and improvements to the client and Outlands Portal are just some of what’s ahead.

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible Developers, Support Staff, Seers, Creative Contributors, and Companions, whose tireless dedication brings this world to life, and to every player who has made Outlands their home.

We don’t take your loyalty, your time, or your trust for granted. We know that eight years of success doesn’t entitle us to a ninth. That’s something we intend to keep earning. Here’s to eight incredible years, and to all the adventures still ahead!

With gratitude,
The Outlands Team
