Codex Systems

Players can craft a Bard Codex with the Inscription skill. The Bard Codex is Blessed and allows players to customize the handling of their Barding Effects.

Outlands has numerous player crafted PvM progression items associated to specific skills which can vastly improve the performance of certain builds. The following is an overview of these items: All codex and progression items are blessed and cannot be stolen.

Skill Codices have a "Loadouts" section, where players can create multiple Loadouts of Codex Upgrade selections. Note: Weapon/Shield Codices do not have Loadouts, as players can switch Stances/Finishers freely within those Codices already without restriction.

Players can craft a Healer's Codex with the Inscription skill. The Healer's Codex is a Blessed item that players can use to improve their bandaging of Players (including themselves), Ship Crewmembers and Followers. Players will earn Experience towards their Healer's Codex when killing creatures.

Players can craft a Potion Codex with the Inscription skill. Players must have a minimum of 80 printed Alchemy skill. The Potion Codex is a Blessed item that players can use to improve the effectiveness or utility of their Potions used.

The Thieves Codex can be crafted with the Inscription skill. Players who are members of the Thieves Guild can utilize a Thieves Codex to supplement their thievery against Creatures (bonuses will not apply towards players).

Weapon and Parry Codices are a weapon focused player progression system in Outlands, allowing players to enhance their weapon skills by leveling Codex Stances as well as unlocking Finishers and Abilities for their weapon skill. Players are able to craft Codices with the Inscription skill.
